Coach Mac, married eight years, has four children ranging from 1 to 8 years old. Coach Mac brings not only a wealth of coaching experience but also a deep understanding of the importance of family values.
Coach Mac joins us from Springdale United, where, as the former Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator, they went and won the 2022 State Championship.
Prior to this, Coach Mac held the position of Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator
for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Under Coach Mac’s leadership as Offensive Coordinator, the Razorbacks boasted their two highest Points Per Game (PPG) seasons in 2019 and 2020, with averages of 12.9 and 13.25 goals, respectively.
Coach Mac brings a diverse coaching background, having contributed his expertise to various programs, including Skyridge High School in Utah, Utah Valley University, Team Six, Ozark Mountain Lacrosse, and Bear State. His commitment to developing talent and fostering a winning mentality is evident in the success of the teams he’s coached.
On the field, Coach Mac has a rich playing history, competing at the collegiate level for both SVU (NCAA D3) and UVU (MCLA). This firsthand experience at the higher level of play adds a unique perspective to his coaching style, ensuring a well-rounded approach to the game.
Coach Jamil Modaffari, with over two decades of lacrosse wisdom under his belt,
brings a wealth of experience as both a player and coach.
His lacrosse journey began in the lacrosse hotbed of Penn Yan, New York, where he not only played but triumphed, securing three NYS Section V championships and making waves in two state semi-final games during his high school career. Transitioning to the collegiate level, Coach Jamil showcased his skills at Cazenovia College in Division III before making the move to Division II powerhouse, Colorado State University-Pueblo.
As an NCAA athlete, Jamil earned all-conference awards each of his four seasons, leaving an indelible mark on the lacrosse landscape. Post-college, Coach Jamil continued his lacrosse journey as an assistant coach at CSU-Pueblo. His coaching expertise extended to the thriving lacrosse community in Colorado Springs, where he became one of the core coaches with Blue Label Lacrosse. Continuing to grow the game, Coach Jamil created his own program in Pueblo, introducing new players to the world of lacrosse.
Now, as part of the Rogers Lacrosse coaching staff, Coach Jamil Modaffari is set to share his wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication with the team!
Born and raised in the region, Coach Brian's lacrosse journey began on the high school fields of Don Tyson School of Innovation. After his years there, he capped off his high school lacrosse career with the Fayetteville Lacrosse Club.
Class of 2020, Coach Brian graduated from Don Tyson School of Innovation, and faced with the uncertainties of a growing pandemic, he made the decision not to pursue further academics or college lacrosse. However, staying true to his roots, he chose to remain local, driven by a desire to contribute to the growth of lacrosse in Arkansas.
Realizing the potential for positive impact, Coach Brian leapt into the coaching arena. His journey started with lending a helping hand to his former team and local youth programs. Fast forward three years, and he became an integral part of the coaching
staff with the Fayetteville Lacrosse Club, dedicating his time and expertise to nurturing the next generation of lacrosse players.
Coach Brian has now taken the position of Assistant Coach with Rogers Lacrosse
as his passion for the game and commitment to local lacrosse development is bound to inspire both on and off the field. Coach Brian is here to lead, teach, and elevate the game in the great state of Arkansas!
